Our purpose is to create a support network for people of all ages suffering from Endometriosis, or painful heavy periods, without a diagnosis. We are a support group for people with endometriosis, and their loved ones. Our page is administered by a woman with Stage 4 endometriosis, and two of her close friends, who witness her daily pain, and challenges, with this chronic condition. We would like
all sufferers to feel free to talk about their pain and symptoms, and to know how to go about seeking a diagnosis, about treatments available, and specialists they can approach or ask for referrals to. As is a predominantly female condition, we would ALSO like to inform and provide a hub and support for male parents, partners, family members, friends, about this chronic condition, and other co-morbidities associated with endo.
is a condition affecting not only the entire body, but having long lasting effects on mental health, lifestyle, and economic situation of women. There is very little support, knowledge, or research about endometriosis. Women who have given birth naturally, without the help of any drugs, say that endometriosis pain is far worse. And it can happen to a girl or woman of any age (it in fact has been found in fetuses), completely unexpectedly. The symptoms can consist of extra painful, very heavy, and long periods, pelvic and back pain, issues with digestion, and bowel movement, and many more.
