Ange Boxall is an award-winning Tasmanian singer-songwriter brings together Country, Folk and Pop, with the spirit of the great female singer-songwriters of the 1970s woven through her music. Her songs are rich with vivid imagery, heartfelt stories and a deep connection to the landscapes and lives that inspire them.

Ange’s album Skipping Stone debuted at #1 on the ARIA Charts, and her musical journey has taken her across Australia, the UK, Europe and the USA. Along the way, she’s shared the studio and stage with artists including J.D. Souther, Grammy Award-winner Jim Lauderdale and Bones Hillman.

BLUES ROULETTE IS COMING TO MARYSVILLE!

Get ready to take a spin with Blues Roulette feat. Iseula & Jesse Valach

There are no rehearsed setlists. No safety nets. Just Australia’s finest blues talent, a killer rhythm section and the thrill of not knowing exactly what’s going to happen next. Anything can happen when the wheel starts spinning.

Jesse Valach makes a triumphant return to the stage. After a life-changing stroke in 2021, Melbourne’s fiery singer and lead guitarist is back doing what he does best — making music. With his powerful voice, soulful guitar playing and a new release, Stroke of Luck, Jesse is proving that the show is far from over.

Joining him is powerhouse vocalist and songwriter Iseula, the driving force behind Blue Eyes Cry, bringing incredible vocal range, raw blues intensity and deeply evocative songwriting to the Roulette stage.

Put them together with the formidable Blues Roulette rhythm section and you’ve got a one-night-only musical gamble you won’t want to miss.

🎲 You never know what’s going to happen.
You just know it’s going to be good.

There’s a certain kind of magic that happens when music finds its way into the hills.

Among the trees, along the streets and tucked into the corners of Marysville, we’ll be sharing music, stories and good times all weekend long and Pirritu will be bringing their own unique sound to the mix.

Pirritu’s music is a gentle, honest, and melodic personal journey that entices
you into the depths of sadness, love, and shimmering hope.

With two album releases under his belt, The songman’s work honours a cultural
journey to connect back to land, language, and family with a continual thirst for
deeper understanding of his people and country.

Pirritu’s music features folk instrumentation weaving amongst his unique vocals
like the gentle wind and waters that the Ngiyampaa man sings of.

And that’s exactly the kind of music we love bringing to Marysville Music Weekend.

Great music. Beautiful places. Good people. And a whole weekend to get lost in it.

Come wander the streets, find a stage and discover Pirritu.

There’s something special about a songwriter who can make a room go quiet.

Dutch-born, Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Joyce Prescher brings a distinctly European sensibility to contemporary folk, weaving introspective lyrics, rich melodies and beautifully crafted stories into songs that stay with you long after the music stops.

With comparisons to Adrianne Lenker, Nick Cave and Leonard Cohen, Joyce occupies a space that is entirely her own - intimate, poetic and quietly powerful.

A finalist at the Australian Folk Music Awards in both 2022 and 2023, and with recent collaborations alongside Lachlan Bryan, Joyce continues to captivate audiences with immersive live performances.

✨ Come slow down, lean in and let the songs do the talking.

That festival feeling… 🎶

There’s a moment at every festival when you stop checking the time.

You’re wandering down the street and hear music coming from somewhere around the corner.

You grab a drink.
Bump into someone you haven’t seen for ages.
Find a band you didn’t know you needed to hear.
The afternoon turns into evening, and suddenly you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.

That’s the feeling we love about Marysville Music Weekend.

It’s the music in the streets.
The little venues.
The big voices.
The unexpected moments.
The people who come for the music and end up staying for the whole experience.

This November, Marysville comes alive again.

13–15 November 2026.

Come for the music.
Stay for the feeling.

Some serious Australian music history is heading our way!

Rebecca Barnard and Shane O’Mara have been part of the Australian music landscape for decades, playing alongside some of the country’s finest, from Paul Kelly and Tim Rogers to Renee Geyer, Stephen Cummings and many more.

Together, they formed Rebecca’s Empire in 1995, with the band making the Triple J Hottest 100 three years running.

For Marysville Music Weekend, they’ll be digging into the musical treasure chest bringing favourite songs from the golden era of Rebecca’s Empire, Rebecca’s solo albums, and a few choice gems from the likes of Joni Mitchell, Jimi Hendrix, Talking Heads and Billie Holiday.

Expect great songs, incredible musicianship, plenty of stories and, of course, the married-couple banter that comes with sharing a stage and a life together

It’s going to be a very special weekend.

We’re pretty excited to welcome one of Australia’s most distinctive and accomplished singer-songwriters to Marysville this November.

Jeff Lang has spent decades creating music that is intricate, gutsy, melodic and absolutely loaded with soul. A guitarist, songwriter, vocalist and producer, Jeff has built a remarkable catalogue spanning more than 32 albums, and if there’s one thing you can say about his music, it’s that it refuses to be easily pigeonholed.

Rootsy, bluesy, folk-infused and rock-driven, Jeff’s music can take you somewhere unexpected.

His work has earned him three ARIA Awards, including Best Blues & Roots Album and Best World Music Album.

But enough about the accolades… you really need to hear Jeff play.
