The 15th* Edition of the Marysville Marathon Festival sees some new editions for you to be challenged by. Spread over two days on Nov 11th - 12th 2023, You can take on the short 7km or extended 14km King or Queen of the Mountain KQOM7-14.
plus the edition of the 100km Challenge starting with a night 50km followed by Sundays daytime 50km. What time will you start Saturday night to join the 50km runners on Sunday.
Most of all this is about supporting the community of Marysville and enjoying this incredibly beautiful place in Victoria.

The 2023 Marysville Marathon Festival will commemorate 15 years since the Black Saturday Fires. The festival created by Dr.Lachlan Fraser and team has played a massive role in bringing people back to the community of Marysville. The running festival continues to support community groups and businesses and 2023 we are planning a two day Marysville Marathon Festival Starting Saturday afternoon, concluding Sunday. Keep an eye out for new distances and possibly a 100km option. Make this a must do event on your 2023 Calendar.

This will the 10th time trailsplus have managed the Marysville Marathon, so another "10th Anniversary Edition" to celebrate. While it will be a little lower key, its a great place to be starting back to our trail adventures and our biggest community support event, lets all rally and get behind the Marysville Community and support this awesome part of regional Victoria.

TODAY IS AN EXCITING DAY
We can confirm the
MARYSVILLE MARATHON FESTIVAL
is going ahead as planned on SUNDAY NOV 7th.
This event is proceeding under the current governments mandated vaccination regulations.
This mandate states that only FULLY VACCINATED INDIVIDUALS may attend the Marysville Marathon Festival.
The event is capped as a Tier 3 event of which 350 places across all events have been allocated, the 10km and 21km are getting full all other distances have various entry places available.

It's crunch time as they say. - Or decision time.

We have been planning and working and planning backups and more back ups for Marysville 2021.
We understand every scenario and consideration people are trying to work through, in particular around covid.
We are working with our volunteer groups, authorities, vendors and local community groups, to make this community event take place.

It appears to have come to the time to get back to as normal as possible and that seems to be the message we are getting from the authorities, so our expectation is that next weekend the 80% road map options kick in and we are good to go and if its not next weekend it will certainly be very soon after, maybe a couple of days.

We have received an enormous amount of questions around Marysville going ahead or not, almost all queries are,
" I haven't entered yet and really want to, but is it going ahead"
HERE'S THE DECISION POINT
You need to enter for it to go ahead, if everyone that has asked enters we are a lot closer to it going ahead from our perspective. But if people keep holding off and not entering, we will have to
MAKE THE DECISION
To postpone Marysville until February 20th 2022.
For those holding off because of refunds or not being able to make back up date, we have decided that entries as of Oct 18th will be refunded, if Nov 7th cant go ahead and the event is on Feb 20th. or you can choose to roll entry over to 2022, Please note there is a $10 fee that wont be refunded.
