Randwick City Council are holding an information session about their proposal to introduce paid parking in Randwick Beachside areas.

Time: 10am - 12pm
Venue: McKeon Street Plaza Maroubra Beach

We encourage you all to attend and be there early, around 9.30am.

Randwick City Council is seeking community feedback on the possible introduction of paid parking for visitors at beachside areas to ensure everyone who uses our beaches fairly contributes to keeping them safe, clean and accessible. Residents would be exempt from paying for parking through a permit system.

A fairer way of funding our beaches that helps locals secure a park.

Beautiful Maroubra beach

Wow-nice to return to my home beach for a fly and a swim at high tide. Water is clean and refreshing-looks like the place to be with heatwave conditions on the way.
Plenty of rocks exposed with no waves to talk about-bring your goggles and snorkel-looks like the Hereward is covered again.

Randwick Council have advised that Broadarrow Reserve parking for Nippers this Sunday will not be open due to expected wet weather over the next couple of days.

We suggest that where possible use a drop and go, public transport, uber from a local area, car pool as parking will be tight locally.
Please share this information as wide as possible to your friends and fellow nippers!
