Be part of the Mareeba Multicultural Festival — a vibrant celebration of culture, food, and community! 🍧🍕

We are inviting commercial and not-for-profit food vendors that represent the cultural diversity of Mareeba Shire, along with services that support diverse communities or focus on emerging cultural groups in the area. 🌍🍴

Performers are also invited to apply! Whether you share your culture through dance, martial arts, music, or another unique performance, we’d love to feature you at this year’s festival💃🪘

The Mareeba Multicultural Festival has been nominated for the People's Choice - Best Community Event in the Mareeba Chamber of Commerce Business Awards! 🏆🌏

The committee is honoured that the event has been nominated and grateful for the support received from the Queensland Government, Mareeba Shire Council, local businesses, our stallholders, workshop facilitators and performers - as well as the community who attend on the day to celebrate with us!

The Mareeba Multicultural Festival is looking for individuals and organisations to run interactive workshops at the 2025 event! From basket weaving, traditional arts, painting to cultural cooking demos – we want to hear from YOU!

🗓 Applications close Friday, 18 July 2025
📍 Workshops will be held in the Mareeba Sports Hall (next to Arnold Park)
🎯 Theme: Celebrating Cultural Harmony
💰 Budget: Up to $2,000 per workshop (must be free for participants)

🛠 Facilitators must provide all materials and run the workshop independently.

Chair of the Mareeba Multicultural Festival Advisory Committee, Cr Mary Graham, encourages the community to get involved:
