Congratulations to one of our favourite authors, Margaret Hickey on publication day, July 28, for Cold River. Margaret has been the judge of our High Country Words short story judges for two years running, as well as a repeat guest at the festival.
In what Margaret describes as a plot twist, she has had to cancel her promotional events due to health issues requiring immediate treatment. We wish her all the best and we know this book will be a hit because of how good it is and because she is so well loved in the Australian readers and writers community.
