Manly Jazz Artistic Director Australia's longest running jazz event held at beautiful Manly Beach, Sydney.

Established in1978, Australia's premier community-based jazz festival, presents an impressive program of more than 850 artists playing against the picturesque backdrop of Manly, NSW Australia. Held on the October Labour Day long weekend Manly Jazz will feature outdoor stages and indoor venues where audiences can enjoy listening to some of the finest Australian and overseas artists.

Vale the legendary Quincy Jones...he inspired a generation of music. So many musicians and music lovers have been influenced by him and for that we are grateful.

The development of music has shifted many times. He had a major part to play in this. He was a masterful producer and talented musician.

Smackwater Jack was one of the first albums of his that I heard. I eagerly sought more of his albums. Certainly shaped my music taste.
