EOI ARTS WORKING GROUP // PORT MACQUARIE BASE HOSPITAL

Help shape art at the new Port Macquarie Base Hospital! 🎨

NSW Health Infrastructre are looking for community members from the Hastings-Macleay area to join their Arts Working Group (AWG) — a volunteer group that will provide guidance and help develop the Arts program for the $265 million upgraded Port Macquarie Base Hospital.

The new facility, including a four-storey Inpatient Unit and expanded Emergency Department, will integrate art that reflects the unique and diverse community of Port Macquarie and surrounds — creating welcoming, culturally appropriate spaces for patients, staff and visitors.

You're eligible to apply if you live, work or study in the Port Macquarie, Kempsey or Wauchope area AND meet at least one of the following:

âś… You've accessed health services (or supported someone who has) in the past 12 months
âś… You have an interest in arts, culture or the creative industries

Meetings run for approximately one hour and are held online or in-person, starting July 2026.

Please note: that this is not a callout for artists seeking to have their work included in the hospital. While artists are welcome to apply, the primary purpose of this group is to provide guidance and inform the development of the Arts program.
