One idea for the theatre. Dinner theatre style. Food would be supplied by local restaurants (taking the pressure off us but bringing revenue for others in the City Heart).

It seems Event Cinemas are stepping up the campaign to sell the Mackay City Cinemas. We would love to take over the ground floor (originally we had plans for 2nd floor as well but have scaled back for now)

Well it looks like we missed out on the old cinemas. Hand shake with contracts this week being done up. Owner occupied so no hope for us opening the theatre. Hopefully they have good plans for it.

Upstairs "lobby" would be similar to the cafe downstairs. For parents waiting for kids playing in the laser tag or a birthday movie party.
