🌙 Oh what a night, Machans Beach!
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make Moon Over Machans such a fantastic day for our little community.
A very special mention to the man, the myth, the legend - Mark Herridge - for once again putting so much time, energy and heart into bringing this event to life. There is an enormous amount of work that goes on behind the scenes, and we’re so grateful for everything he does to make Moon Over Machans happen.
A big thank you to Cairns Regional Council, Anton Demolitions and NQ Container Services and Transport for their generous support in helping make the day possible.
Thank you to all of our incredible entertainers who kept us dancing and singing into the night, and a huge well done to all the kids who were brave enough to get up and perform in the Talent Quest!
Thank you also to our food vendors and market stallholders, the local businesses who generously donated prizes, and every volunteer and community member who chipped in before, during and after the event.
Also a special shout-out to Lis for capturing the day so beautifully! 📸
And thank you to everyone who came down to Keith Edwick Park, brought the family, caught up with neighbours and friends, and enjoyed the afternoon and evening with us.
It’s the people who make this little community what it is, and Saturday was a pretty special reminder of that. 🌙💗
