The countdown is on to the return of trail running in the mountains behind the seaside town of Lorne. This is heavens door of trail running with magic around every corner. Cant wait to welcome you all next weekend for some amazing trail adventures. We have added some updated maps, including some navigation help through the Sheoak Picnic Ground Aid Station.

WOW what an amazing weekend in Lorne. I think thats going to be hard to top when it comes to trail running adventures, weather, company and food. Perfect
With just under 400 runners hitting what many of the runners described as the best ever trails they have run on says it all. To our Runners, Volunteers, Supporters and the Trails+ family - THANK YOU, we've already started planning 2020 and how to make room for a few more of you.
We will send out a survey soon with an opportunity to pre register and and get first chance to experience the wonderful trails and waterfalls in Lorne.

We thought it would happen, and its about to, if you missed out on a spot we'd welcome you as a Volly and guaranteed place next year. We think after 5 years and a new course and limited space we will fill quickly for future events.
42km and 52km events will remain open, shorter events almost full closing soon.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR WONDERFALLS TRAIL
Our 5th year has seen numbers increase to near capacity.
Please note we will close off entries shortly, if you go to enter and find sold out against your distance, please don't tell us you have been planning to enter but haven't got to it yet, apart from a few reserved on day spots that will be all once we close the online system down.

So AWESOME that we get to share great trails with you all.
THIS DOES MEAN we are invoking some of our required PlanB's to ensure a smooth flowing safe and enjoyable event.
PARKING
We will send a race brief update to all registered runners, but note the Lorne Shuttle bus service to Cumberland will be compulsory for shorter distances as the Cumberland carpark space will be full. Once full, there is no where safe to park so avoid driving back to Lorne, catch the bus first. If your staying in Lorne this is the most recommended option as your car is already safely parked.
DINNER
Fast filling, if you want to join us Friday night and / or Saturday Night reply to the survey we sent all current entrants.
Next message we expect to be announcing we are full.

We take you to some of the 10 Waterfalls behind Lorne, as part of some of the distances, if you'd like to get your fix of more check out some of the others on Sunday in a relaxing recovery walk

If Wonderfalls has given you an appetite for magnificent trails and stunning waterfalls – there are so many more for you to taste! The locals at the Visitor Centre can point you down the right paths to discover 10 spectacular waterfalls all within 10 km of Lorne. Make it a full weekend stay, and enjoy a relaxing recovery walk to some of the falls you don't get to visit during the Wonderfalls Trail Run
