Longreach Jockey Club President Andrew Watts is attending the launch of the Spring Racing Season, featuring Country and Regional Cups, at Parliament House in Canberra tonight.

Wattsy joins other county reps John Manzelmann and Keith and Denise Ballard - as well as Racing Queensland representatives - helping showcase the important contribution country race clubs make to the racing industry and our local communities.

It is a great opportunity to ensure country racing has a voice on the national stage and to celebrate the people, clubs and communities that keep racing thriving across regional Australia.
