Raccoon Dog and good mate Pete Cornelius and his original DeVilles will be rocking out in a long awaited appearance at Valentino Safe Co on Saturday July 11th.

Raccoon Dog , well known on the Tassie live music scene for their raw live performances bring solid real Americana bluesy rock with a their new line up. Original songs written by frontman Ben Wilson backed up by Dan and Kyle Lizotte, Henry Rippon and Rudy Valentino.

Pete Cornelius and his original DeVilles with be joining Raccoon Dog on the night as the special guests, the bluesy goodness of the DeVilles will be a great kick off for the night of live Tassie original music.

External colour is Pewter and internally a nice light grey. Great colour combo in a 2 pac solid paint for the high gloss.

Another successful night of original Australian live music at the Safe Shop with Chris Caville and Tom Harrington.
Valentino Safe Co has been supporting the arts and hosting events of all kinds for nearly 7 years now. What started as a fun local open mic night has become a prominent part of Tasmania's live music scene.
Although the gigs are limited to a dozen or so a year we have had some of the best local and mainland artists entertain our lovely little town of Lilydale TAS.

It takes a lot of work to host these gigs in between our own band, kids, life and work but we now have the support of Tasmania's best sound production company VJAM. VJAM have pulled out the big speakers and supplied the venue with top quality sound/production managed by Henry Rippon. Without the hard work, late nights and dedication from Henry this venue would not be what it is today.
Thank you to all who support our small and funky venue and we look forward to whatever the future may bring!

Tom Harrington & Chris Cavill

As part of Tom & Chris's 2026 Tasmanian Tour they will stopping by the safe shop on Saturday 10/1/26 to perform.

Acclaimed indie-folk singer-songwriters join forces for the very first time for this Tasmanian 6 show tour. For Melbourne based artists Chris Cavill, Tassie has become like a second home and since 2022 has toured the State four times including appearances at Cygnet Folk Festival and Good Gumnuts Festival.

Tom has also spent his fair share of time building connections with the Tasmanian audiences and has a strong resume with performances with Boy & Bear, Ziggy Alberts, Kim Churchill and The Dreggs. Tom has performed on the big stages of Byron Bay Blues Festival and Gympie Muster 2023,2024.

Together Chris and Tom embody the spirit of modern indie-folk: grounded storytelling, shaped by years of touring, and connected by their ability to create moments of intimacy and joy on stage.
