Write this one on your calendars, folks! Our dear mates, The Wild Women of Anywhere Beach are heading to Tasmania later in the year to host some funky shenanigans with us!

During their stay on our beautiful island they're teaming up with me to host a weekend rustic camp (in cabins or BYO camper) by the beach at Weymouth just 45mins from Launceston - there'll be fun, laughter, learning, playing, singing, some crafts, some watching the sun rise/set over the ocean, sharing food and did we mention the fun?? Oodles of it!

Latest episode on ABC iview - around 10mins in, you’ll see the amazing and gorgeous The Thin White Ukes!! Absolute bloody legends (still one of my favourite visuals from all of our Jamborees, watching them cut shapes all over the stage in the Pilgrim Church concert venue. The Pilgrim has since been sold to a private buyer and it’s now out of commission as a central C*D venue ☹️)

BARKAA, Chris Cheney, Nina Oyama and Hannah Gadsby dissect the music of Sydney, San Francisco, ukulele bands, Australian hip hop, and Grace Jones' ability to party. Miss Kaninna closes the show with a certified banger.

Barratts have a wonderful range of uke straps if you're looking to jazz up your look, and they also have a great range of metronomes - a huge help to keep you in time while you're practicing at home!

The date is drawing nearer for the Sally's Ukulele workshops on 5 - 6 September!!
What an exciting program! 😀🙌 (Some of the topics may look the same as what we have done in previous years, but the material is fresh and new)
If you have concerns about whether you feel able to participate, please ring Sally Carter. There are always options to cater to everybody. See the flyer below with all the info, and links to book your ticket.
You will notice that there are options for a full weekend, or just Saturday, or just Sunday.
You can see the timetable of workshops so you can pick your menu!

If you wish to personalise your workshop options e.g. you might want to do just two on Saturday and two on Sunday, please email or ring me to discuss what you want to do.
