We are looking for additional
Traditional Piano Tutor

Start Date: around 27th January, Term 1 2026
Preferred availability Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 3pm - 8pm
to take on existing students and all new piano enrolments.
Lane Cove Music and Cultural Association is a not-for-profit community organisation delivering high quality music education for the past 32 years.
Our new, centrally located teaching studios and performance space are in Lane Cove close to the Longueville Road Bus Interchange and include 6 acoustically treated air-conditioned studios with a range of Upright and Grand Pianos. 3hrs free parking is available in the Little St Council Carpark immediately under the Music centre.

This is a Contract Worker Position, with the hourly rate of remuneration to be set by the candidate. Terms of contract require applicants to hold an active ABN, Public Liability Insurance and Working with Children Check. Workers Compensation is covered by Lane Cove Music and Cultural Association.

Welcome to the Lane Cove Music & Cultural Centre! Our studios are located at Lower Ground 1 Pottery Lane. Lane Cove
We’re so excited to update our social pages and share the incredible stories of our many music students, our 23 wonderful teachers,
and a great creative community right here in the heart of Lane Cove.
Meet Amelia, age 10, who has been part of the Lane Cove Music and Cultural Centre family since she was just one year old doing Early Childhood classes at LCMCC!
Amelia began her music tuition journey with the Suzuki Method here at LCMCC, first learning Suzuki Violin and later discovering her passion for the cello and composition.
Amelia is now a very accomplished and competent performer and a regular in our Student Recital Series held in the wonderful new Pottery Lane Performance Space in Pottery Lane Lane Cove,
These Recital events showcase our students' achievements as they take up the opportunity to mastering the art of working with professional accompanists during performance.
When asked what she loves most about music, she said: “Music is very creative, and I’d recommend it to other kids.”
This photo was taken during one of her term 4 composition classes with Tutor: Josemir Valverde, this image is a wonderful example of the creativity, dedication and joy that fills our vibrant music studios every week.
We can’t wait to share more stories like Amelia’s and give you a behind-the-scenes look at the magic that happens when you mix inspirational music tutors with children, here our Music Centre.

Today's Student Recital was delightful.Well done to all the performers,Mathilda and Louise concert coordinators and our many volunteers who assisted with bump in and bump out...veryone enjoyed the afternoon and the music.
