🚗🔥 Start your engines, the 2026 Spring Show ‘n’ Shine is gearing up to be bigger, louder and shinier than ever! 🏍✨

Car lovers, bike buffs, classic collectors and chrome fanatics… it’s time to roll out your pride and joy and be part of one of the festival’s favourite events.

After more than 160 incredible entries last year, we’re turning up the horsepower for 2026 and bringing even more action, atmosphere and festival fun to the streets of Laidley.

Make a full weekend of it with parades, market stalls, live entertainment, food trucks, community events and plenty of country hospitality along the way 🌾🎶

Applications are now OPEN for the 2026 Laidley Spring Festival Grand Street Parade, and this year we’re celebrating all things:
🌻🐄 COUNTRY HARVEST 🌽🍅

We’re calling on the whole community to bring the country spirit to town with floats, tractors, farmyard fun, fresh produce, scarecrows and all things harvest season!

If it can be grown, driven, baked, picked, baled or loaded onto a trailer, we want it in the parade 🌽✨

We’re thrilled to announce that Valley Markets and Events has been appointed as the Festival Precinct Markets’ Coordinator for this year’s Laidley Spring Festival! 🌸🎉

As the Lockyer Valley’s largest event, the festival draws thousands of visitors with the markets always being a highlight. 🍟🎶

Valley Markets and Events will be curating a fantastic stallholder experience at both the Twilight Feast and Fest and Country Market, on 11 and 12 September 2026. 🙌✨

Just an hour from Brisbane, the Lockyer Valley turns it on 11-12 September for the Laidley Spring Festival, with Bee Happy Day keeping the good vibes rolling in Forest Hill on the 13th. Think main street magic, feel-good energy and a full weekend of colour, sound and celebration.

The numbers are in, and Council’s 2025 Laidley Spring Festival bloomed bigger than ever! 🌸🌼🚀

From increased parade entries to greater cross-collaboration from various community groups, Council’s premiere event continues to strengthen and grow 👇

🌷The Spring Garden Fair welcomed almost 5000 attendees through the pavilion
🎫Under 5’s Day experienced a significant increase with more than 970 ticket registrations
💮Spring Orchid Show had a 5% attendance increase, and a 15% rise in sales from 2024

The community’s enthusiasm for this event seems to grow each year, and we are so proud and thankful for helping us turn this festival into a major drawcard for our region!

😍 What a weekend! Over three amazing days we’ve celebrated retro revival in the Lockyer Valley, blessed with perfect spring sunshine ☀️ and surrounded by incredible makers, creators, producers, artists, musicians, and of course, unforgettable food.

🎉🙌 From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU to every single person who came along, dressed up, sang, danced, cheered, shared our events, brought a friend, showed off their blooms or their pride and joy, dressed a float, ran a stall, supported a local business, cleaned a table, set up equipment, pulled down marquees, emptied bins, wiped down surfaces, or jumped in to help wherever needed.
