Heres some of the photo highlights from our inaugural Badayijeng Ninggoowoong-woorr Festival in Kununurra last month.
What a boss day everyone had!!
What was your favourite part of the Festival?
Was it the fashion runways from Waringarri Aboriginal Arts Boonkaj line, lulujaru deadly clothing or Katrina Hill Designs (our 8 year old Fashion Desinger from Kalumburu) or was it watching our youth performers, or did you Love our Country Artist or
Anindilyakwa Musician 's beautiful music and powerful set and/ or when young Miriwoong Performer Conway Chunnery danced to Lady Blue or was your favourite
JK-47 ft DREDUB finishing the show with some deadly Hip Hop??!! Our Waringarri Aboriginal Arts Dancers smashed the ground and it was deadly to see several generations of dancers full of pride in culture and community.
There was something for everyone during the day and we hope everyone had the best time!
Biggest thank you to everyone who made this Festival amazing!!
