RSYS Hardy Cup

RSYS Hardy Cup Hardy Cup - 5th to 9th February 2023 Hosted by the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron, the Hardy Cup is one of Australia's most prestigious youth match racing events.

The Hardy Cup was donated by Sir James Hardy, an America's Cup, World Champion sailor, Olympic Yachtsman, and prominent member of the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron. Sir Hardy donated the cup and is patron of the event in an effort to promote match racing skills in youth sailors. The event is held directly in front of the Squadron with the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House as a dramatic back

drop to the intense match racing. Further to this fantastic location, the Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron maintains a world class race management and umpire team ensuring tight and fair racing. The event will be sailed in the Squadron's fleet of exciting Elliott 7s sports boats.
