After a wonderful day on Sunday at the 40th Lobster Festival thought it timely to respond to all the questions about why it isn't the crayfish festival? The possession limit for rock lobster in, on or next to any Victorian waters is 4 tagged and tail-clipped rock lobster. Lobster catch must be reported within 7 days.

Please note the KILCUNDA FORESHORE CAR PARK will be CLOSED to the public from 8.30pm FRIDAY 23rd January until 5pm SUNDAY 25th January.

We realise this may be an inconvenience but for everyone's safety we need to close the car park whilst the Lobster Festival site is being erected. Thank you for your understanding. 🙏🙏

The Kilcunda Community Association would like to send out a HUGE THANK YOU to John Duscher who has never failed to support our community by being the Master Spinner at our famous Spinning Wheel. John has decided to retire his post after many many years since he did his apprenticeship under the original Doug Veal at the very start of our Festival and then showed up every year to stand in the sun and spin the wheel in all sorts of weather conditions! The current & previous committee members of the KCA (Kilcunda Community Association) want to thank and acknowledge John's huge effort. Thank you John for your contribution to our community as we couldn't have done it without you. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Don't forget we have heaps for the kids and those young at heart! Taylor Family Amusements will again be at the Festival with a few rides including Dodgem Cars, Tea Cup Merry Go Round, Taxi jet and platform boat ride! A few sideshows to win a prize as well! The fun is endless!

We welcome back the wonderful volunteers from the Kilcunda CFA and the SES San Remo Unit to the 40th running of the Lobster Festival. Can't remember an event that they didn't attend and show off their skills! They are hugely popular and have been very busy of late but have still found the time to come to the Festival as part of our Kilcunda Community. So go and say a big HI to all the volunteers who give their time so freely to keep us all safe. Thank you.
