HISTORICAL 1899 NSW Marriage Act Certificate! Discovered this document and was totally fascinated with the differences between now and then. Back in 1899 each State of Australia (territories didn't exist at this time) had there own laws on governing Marriages and issued their own certificates. The current Marriage Act 1961 changed this law and Australian State & Territories are now governed by Federal. This Certificate was issued in the 1920's and signed off by a bachelor and spinster! ❤️
