SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
From Colin Greene CEO Blue Mountains Elvis Festival 2025
Well another Blue Mountains Elvis Festival has come and gone and most people agree it was the most successful to date. Attendance was well up on last year. Thanks to everyone who bought tickets & weekend passes to support the event.' Really appreciate it.
Next years Festival will be August 13th-16th. Put it in your diary.
Many people to thank.
BEN GREENE
If I am 'The face of the festival' as I have been called recently then my son BEN GREENE is 'The heart and soul of the festival'. He has worked tirelessly for the past six months setting up all the digital content, ticketing, marketing, posters, lighting etc. etc. There would be no festival without Ben and he continues to shoulder more and more responsibility.
NICK DARIAS
The boss of the Katoomba RSL, NICK DARIUS has given 100% support over the years and the 'Opening Gala Dinner' on Thursday 14th August was excellently presented by the RSL.
JOHN ROSE
From driving the bus to and from the airport for artist pick-ups, to customer relations, doorman, security, and a host of other jobs too numerous to mention. This is John's last year as a member of the team. He will be missed.
SHAYLEE WILDE
Ticketing, artist & band liaising. Two of the hardest jobs at the festival, trying to get everyone to agree on their song lists.
RAY BURNS
Responsible for all the video content at the shows. Great job, well done.
DELORES & JULIE
Official Merchandising. Not easy trying to please everyone.
CHRIS & JOHN
Unofficial Merchandise. John & Chris have been at every festival since the beginning in 2013. Always with a smile on their faces.
THE KENTUCKY ALLSTARS / EL'S BELLES SINGERS
This year the Kentucky Allstars were COLIN MUIR-Keyboards, DARYL NEVE-Bass guitar, MIKE HAGUE-Drums, BEN GREENE-Lead guitar, BRIGETTE-JACKIE-LEAH-Back-up vocals.
If there is a better Elvis Tribute Band in the country then I have yet to meet them. Absolutely superb.
SUN RISING
I have been telling everyone how good this band is for the past six months and they proved why they are the 'World's leading Tribute to Sun Records'. Hopefully this isn't the last time they will be appearing at The Blue Mountains Elvis Festival
THE FEATURE ARTISTS
JOHNNY LEE MEMPHIS, One of the world's leading Elvis Tribute Artists. Came directly from performing on the Graceland Stage at Memphis to perform for the sixth time at the festival. Heading back to Scotland on Monday. Hope to have him back in Australia next year.
SEAN SPITERI
Back performing at the festival after a ten year absence. Didn't disappoint, as always.
STUEY V
No Blue Mountains Elvis Festival would be complete without STUEY V ( at least that's what he keeps telling me LOL ). Next year will be his tenth appearance at the event. His tribute to Richie Valence was one of the highlights of the festival and the work he put in to make it authentic was a credit to his professionalism
RICK CHARLES
Back at the festival for the 7/8th time. Organised the Gospel Show and performed on the Vigil & Opening Gala Dinner. One of the mainstays of the event. Thanks Rick
GEIR
Just spent two weeks with Geir in Memphis as he represented my festival in the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist contest. A true gentleman and a fantastic Elvis Tribute Artist.
ELVIS ROBERTS
First appearance for Elvis ( Real Name ). 50's tribute artist. Certainly won't be the last time .
JAMES HILL
Performed at the Gospel. Still only 18 years old and improving with every performance.
LOUNGE ENTERTAINMENT
BIG AL & MARGOT
All the lounge entertainment was again hosted by Big Al & Margot and included PETER P**I, NIGEL STANLEY, JAMES HILL & TERRY LEONARD. These artists played all three days of the festival and were a credit to the event. Well done.
PIN-UP PAGEANT
Thanks to APRIL BLYTHE and all the girls that took part. Everyone made a real effort with their outfits and performances.
GUEST ARTISTS
Special thank you to all the guest artists that performed in the lounge over the weekend, especially JAY ELVIS.
THE FAMILY HOTEL

CLASSIC CAR SHOW
Unfortunately due to ill health the organiser of the cars was unable to fulfil his obligations this year. There WILL BE cars on display next year and apologies to all the enthusiasts who were disappointed at the no show.
ACCOMMODATION
I will be working on accommodation packages for next year. If you are interested in reserving a room ( no obligation ) please email
[email protected]
I,ve checked and re-checked the post before publishing but if I've left anyone out ( and I probably have ) I am truly sorry.
N.B. JOHNNY LEE MEMPHIS will be performing at BIg Als World, Mount Druitt on Saturday & Sunday before flying home to Scotland on Monday. A last chance to see him before he returns to Daydream Island with his 'Scottish Festival Down Under' in July 2026.
This is my last show until the middle of 2026. Thanks to everyone for their support and especially SABRINA from 2UE for all her help with the radio advertising.
Enjoy the rest of the year, have a Merry Christmas and I'll see you in 2026.
Cheers
Colin Greene
