We have some fabulous news to share with you.

We have an engagement to announce!!!!

When you find a good woman, you need to wife her up! Well, we popped the question, gave her a ring and she said YES!!!! Pheww!

It is now official! Heather is off the market and will be staying with us as the Event Manager taking the Katherine Show and Rodeo into 2027.

After the fabulous success of the 2026 show we are keen to see what magic will come about with the 2027 show.

There is no such thing as tools down and we are hard at work behind the scenes planning for 2027. Drop us an email or pop into the office for a chat if there is something you would like to contribute to the show.

Keep an eye out as we will soon be recruiting for committee members to help shape the biggest community event on the Katherine calendar.

Attention Katherine gardeners…..we still have heaps of mulch hay in our cattle pens and it would be great to get it into your gardens instead of going to the tip. It’s free but you have to shovel it yourself. Available this Saturday from 9am to 12pm or weekdays from 9am to 3pm at the Showgrounds. In 2027 we will celebrate all things mango in our pavilions. From agriculture and photography to the cooking shed and beyond. Could there be a mango inspired patchwork quilt?
