🌟 We've Been Working on a Little Something at the KLC... 🌟

We're excited to introduce our new Sensory Room and quiet space at the KLC. 💙

It's not the biggest space, but it's a perfect little space for young people who may be feeling overwhelmed, overstimulated, or simply need a quiet place to take a break and reset.

Whether you're here for sport, a program, or visiting the centre, you're welcome to utilise the space. Simply let a staff member know if you'd like access to the room.

A few things to remember: 🔹 Children using the room must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. 🔹 Please help us keep the space welcoming by leaving it as you found it for the next person to enjoy.

This special little project was made possible thanks to a generous donation from Kreac and the vision of one of our own, Aliyah Willie. Together, we were able to create a safe, calming space for our community.

We hope this little room makes a big difference for those who need it. 💙✨

🪩🎉 Get your outfits ready! 🎉🪩

Spread the word and invite your friends our Youth 80s themed Rave is nearly here! 🕺💃

We're looking forward to giving our young people a fun, safe night to hang out with friends, hit the dance floor, and make some great memories.

A few important things to know:

🔹 Doors close at 7:00pm sharp. No entry will be permitted after this time.
🔹 For safety reasons, young people will not be permitted to leave the event or walk home unless prior arrangements have been made with parents/guardians and staff.
🔹 Parents/guardians are welcome to collect their child at any time during the night, however they must sign them out with staff before leaving.
🔹 Glow sticks and other fun items will be available for purchase (cash only).
🔹 Food, drinks and snacks will be available for purchase (Eftpos available)

✨A Great New Addition to the Top Oval Facilities ✨

We're excited to announce that the new toilet blocks at the Top Oval facilities will officially open tomorrow! 🚻

This fantastic upgrade will provide improved amenities and greater convenience for everyone using the facilities. We're also pleased to share that one of the new amenities includes a baby change table, helping make the facilities more accessible and family-friendly for all users.

🚿 The KLC toilets and showers will remain available and accessible if required.

We look forward to seeing everyone enjoy these new facilities and thank the community for their patience and support as this project was completed. 👏😊
