Karuah Oyster and Timber festival committee members past and present would like to offer our sincere condolences to family and friends of our past treasurer and committee member
Margret Dawn Lyall
Dawn has been a member of the Oyster and Timber festival committee for approximately 35 years joining the committee in 1990 serving as treasurer and a dedicated committee member.

Dawn has worked tirelessly to support and promote the festival and will be sadly missed by not only our festival committee but by all those who knew her.

The Karuah Timber & Oyster Festival is returning on Saturday, 17th October 2026, and we’re inviting stallholders to register their interest in being part of this year’s event!

We’re looking for a variety of stalls including:
🛍️ Handmade goods
🍴 Food vendors
🎨 Arts & crafts
🌿 Local products
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Community organisations and more!

🍻 BAR TENDER OPPORTUNITY 🍻

The Karuah Timber & Oyster Festival will once again be offering the festival bar service out for tender for 2026.

If your local community group meets the required licensing and operational criteria and would like to apply, please email us at [email protected] and we’ll provide the relevant information and application details.

Bar facilities will be required from 10:00am to 5:00pm on festival day.

We look forward to hearing from interested parties!
