A huge thank you to Anita Kubler from Rendezvous Candles for creating our gorgeous new candle range for this year's Sunflower Festival. 🌻 🕯️

Beautifully crafted and smelling absolutely amazing, these candles quickly became a festival favourite! 🌻

We're so grateful for Anita's creativity, craftsmanship, and support in helping make this year's festival even more special. 💛

🦕 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗢𝗦𝗔𝗨𝗥 𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗗 🌻
Hidden amongst the blooms at this year’s Kalbar Sunflower Festival was a prehistoric adventure that quickly became a favourite for our little visitors! 🦖🌻

From giant dinosaurs to plenty of fun photo opportunities, Dinosaur Land was the perfect spot for kids to explore, imagine and burn off some festival energy. 💛✨

A huge thank you to 𝗦𝗘𝗤𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 for helping keep our dinosaurs under control all weekend long! 🦕💦

It quickly became one of the true hidden gems of the festival — the perfect place to take a break, relax, and enjoy incredible live music surrounded by blooms, sunshine and festival atmosphere. 🎶

The heart and soul of what we do each year is supporting our wonderful charity partners. 💛

This year, we were incredibly proud to donate $𝟱,𝟬𝟬𝟬 each to 𝗟𝗶𝘀𝗮'𝘀 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀, 𝗜𝗽𝘀𝘄𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗲 and 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗻-𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, raised through more than 𝟯,𝟯𝟬𝟬 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 in our much-loved 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮 𝗧𝗲𝗻𝘁. 🍰☕

🌻 𝗔 𝗛𝗨𝗚𝗘 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗛 𝗦𝗛𝗦 🌻
A massive thank you to the incredible students and staff from 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗵 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 for all of their support at this year’s Sunflower Festival. 💛

From Hospitality students gaining valuable real-world catering experience at the Long Lunches, to the talented student musicians entertaining crowds across the weekend, the students embraced every opportunity with confidence and pride.

Another major highlight was the stunning 𝗯𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘁 created by the Industrial Technology and Design and Art faculties. The vibrant festival-inspired piece became a standout of the weekend, helping raise an amazing $𝟯,𝟮𝟱𝟬 at auction for 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 in support of Boonah Hospital and local telehealth oncology services. 💛

Plus the 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 was also a huge success, with students helping create a fun, welcoming and creative space for families through art activities, temporary tattoos and a collaborative artwork created across the festival. 🎨

Thank you for being such an important part of the festival and helping create so many special memories for our visitors. 🌻

Our stunning coloured sunflowers were once again a favourite photo spot at this year’s festival. 💛

Did you know hybrid sunflowers are created by breeders crossing two distinctly different sunflower varieties to combine their very best traits — from stronger stems to unique and vibrant colours. 🌻

A huge shout out to 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗻 from KB Ornamentals who grows and breeds coloured sunflower seeds and generously donates them to Jenny for the festival each year.

These incredible blooms help make the sunflower fields even more colourful, unique and memorable for our visitors. 🌻🧡❤️💛
