Seeking Expressions of Interest – 2027 Jabiru Biathlon Sponsorship Opportunities
14–16 May 2027

The Jabiru Biathlon has built a strong reputation as one of the Top End's most unique and highly anticipated community events. Year after year, the majority of our sponsors choose to return as valued event partners, highlighting the exceptional exposure and positive relationships the event delivers.

The 2026 event was our biggest yet, welcoming additional teams into the competition while also maintaining an extensive waiting list of teams eager to participate. A huge thank you to Think Water for helping us showcase the Jabiru Golf Course at its absolute best over Biathlon weekend.
What did you all think of the course?
It's hard to believe that only a few months ago the fairways were dry, dull and covered in large trenches as we prepared to install our brand-new irrigation system. Fast forward to Biathlon weekend and the transformation was incredible.
The lush fairways, greener conditions and improved playing surface are a testament to the hard work that has gone into this project and the quality products and support provided by Think Water.
This is just the beginning for the Jabiru Golf Club, and we're excited to see the course continue to improve over the coming years.
Thanks again to Think Water for helping bring our vision to life. ⛳💚

From your 2026 Jabiru Biathlon organisers – Kelsey Lea Wilson and Heidi Walton

One week on, and we’ve definitely got a case of the Biathlon blues!

This event has consumed our lives for the past few months, and for Kelsey, it all started back in October while she and her family were travelling on the road. Out came the laptop, and the planning began!

There are honestly too many people to thank individually, but we hope we’ve managed to show our appreciation to everyone who helped make the weekend such a success.
We also need to give a special shout-out to our immediate families, who supported, loved, and supplied beers when things got stressful - we love you!

Most importantly, we want to acknowledge the real MVPs: all of you who participated.

You turned up in huge numbers, brought incredible energy, embraced the fun (and the deadly costumes), and helped create the atmosphere and community that makes the Jabiru Biathlon so special and a favourite!

Seeing everyone laughing and having a great time is what has motivated us to do it all again - so let’s hit the sticks in 2027!” ⛳🎣💙💛

🏆 Our Final Scoreboard is in! 🏆
What a finish to the 2026 Jabiru Biathlon!
The competition was incredibly tight this year, with just 0.5 of a point separating our Champions from the Runner-Up team, and another 0.5 of a point between the next placing. It truly came down to every fish measured, every putt sunk, and every shot taken.
A huge congratulations to all teams who competed. The sportsmanship, laughs, and competitive spirit displayed throughout the weekend were outstanding.

What a year it has been for our 2026 prize winners and competitors!
The fishing was certainly tough out there this year, but our anglers still managed to battle the conditions and put some incredible fish on the board. Across the weekend, a total of 240 Barramundi were caught with a combined length of 10,760cm, along with 2 Jewfish, 2 Golden Snapper and 4 Saratoga. 🎣
The golf course then turned on an absolute cracker of a day, with 34 teams and 136 competitors hitting the fairways. The pace of play was unreal and the atmosphere around the course made for an incredible finish to the weekend. ⛳️
A massive congratulations to all of our winners, place getters and competitors. Thank you all for making the 2026 Jabiru Biathlon another unforgettable event. We can’t wait to see what 2027 brings! 🍻🐊
