Inverloch parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all ages and abilities, which takes place every Saturday at 8am in Inverloch, VIC, Australia. Inverloch parkrun is FREE and open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and as runners / walkers. We encourage people of every ability to take part, from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians, from junior

s 5 years or older to those with decades of experience. All runners receive encouragement and enjoy being part of a community event open to all standards. Equally, our volunteer teams come from a huge variety of backgrounds and we urge everybody to get involved in organising their local events at least 3 times per year.

Congratulations to the 94 people who walked, jogged and ran their way around our parkrun course today. We welcomed visitors from Cairns, South Australia and a few Victorian parkruns, but overall a mostly local group on this cool, cloudy morning.
Romano celebrated his 250th parkrun with a group of supporters cheering him on and we had 4 people complete their first ever parkrun. First time visitor to Inverloch, Emma, quietly completed her 100th parkrun and we also had a couple of unofficial milestones; Sarah 300 and Ken 200.
A huge shout-out to our wonderful team of volunteers who did a fantastic job in all their roles today. Extra thanks to our photographer Noel who made sure our parkrunners were safe at Pensioner's Point and to Vanessa who stepped in at late notice to tailwalk for us. Our Core Volunteer Roles are what keep us going every week and we are so grateful to those who give up their parkrun for the week to step up and lend a hand - we wouldn't run without you. Thank you!
Hope you enjoy the photos and the rest of your weekend. Julie will be looking after you next week.
