Sail Bellarine 2026 is very pleased to have the continuing support of Oakdene Vineyards for the regatta.

Oakdene Vineyards is a family-owned estate featuring a cellar door, restaurant, café, accommodation, and beautiful gardens. The region’s cool maritime climate provides ideal conditions for producing exceptional quality fruit.

A range of excellent Oakdene wines will be available for purchase at the Friday evening pizza event and throughout Saturday into the evening.

1st Drysdale Scouts is a vibrant youth development group based in Drysdale, Victoria. As part of Scouts Victoria, they offer engaging, adventure-based programs that inspire and empower local young people.

The group is led by dedicated local volunteers, with Group Leader Wayne Simpson at the helm.

1st Drysdale Scouts is well known across the Bellarine for its annual Christmas tree sales, which raise funds for equipment and supports members attending the National Jamboree.

Sail Bellarine 2026 is fortunate to have 1st Drysdale’s support, as they will be providing breakfast and lunch for the regatta participants.

Breakfast will be available from 8:00 AM on both Saturday and Sunday, ensuring sailors are well-fueled for a full day of racing.

Saturday lunches will also be available and can be pre-ordered online at https://drysdalescouts.com/collections/all, with additional orders accepted on the day.

Note: On-water volunteers will have lunches provided in their carry-on bags and do not need to place an order.

Regattas such as Sail Bellarine rely on a fleet of on-water support vessels to manage racing and maintain a safe environment for all competitors.

This year, Sail Bellarine’s support fleet includes a jet ski standing by to assist sailors in need. Sailor safety remains the top priority, and the jetskis is equipped with an attached platform for quick and easy retrieval.

Pictured are the two Johns outside the IHYC clubhouse. On the left is John Gouin, a familiar and reassuring presence on the water whenever sailors need a helping hand, and on the right is John Walter, our Commodore.

Indented Head Yacht Club (IHYC), and by extension Sail Bellarine 2026, is proud to receive continued funding support for 2026 through the City of Greater Geelong (CoGG).

CoGG provides targeted funding to support moderate-sized events that deliver economic benefits to the City of Greater Geelong, strengthen and enrich the community, celebrate shared interests, showcase local competitive advantages, and create meaningful opportunities for local participation.

For CoGG ratepayers, the grant program gives excellent value for money, providing seed funding for local initiatives to establish and succeed.

Bellarine Bayside is a longstanding supporter of the Sail Bellarine regatta, generously making their facilities available and providing cleaning and waste removal services throughout the event.

Beyond the regatta, Bellarine Bayside plays a vital role in fostering community engagement by supporting a wide range of events and activities that promote outdoor recreation and a shared sense of belonging. Their commitment extends to environmental sustainability, with dedicated efforts to preserve natural habitats and protect biodiversity along the coastline.

For Sail Bellarine, Bellarine Bayside has made the Indented Head Community Hall available and provides camping facilities adjacent to the clubhouse, giving sailors a comfortable base for the weekend. Each campsite is generously sized, allowing sailors to easily drop off their boats at the designated dinghy storage area and park their trailers directly alongside their tents or campervans.
