A heartfelt thank you to all our Rotary members and Friends of Rotary for the hard work and dedication that made this year’s Iluka Community Mermaid Festival another roaring success!

A special thank you to all the community groups who shared their talents and energy through entertainment and activities, and to our wonderful sponsors — without your generous support, this not-for-profit event simply wouldn’t be possible.

To our locals and visitors, thank you for coming together to celebrate our beautiful little village on the Clarence and everything she has to offer.

And finally, an extra-special thank you to our Rotary organising committee, and to Shirley and Eric for the massive amount of work and heart they poured into bringing this festival to life once again.

Together, we’ve created something truly special for Iluka.

This year’s Mermaid & Mermen Parade is calling on the whole community – young, old, locals, and visitors – to dress up and join the fun. Whether you’re a glittering mermaid, a bold merman, or a sea-inspired character, YOU are part of what makes this festival so special.

🎉 The parade is all about colour, creativity, and community spirit – and everyone is welcome. Bring your family, bring your friends, and don’t forget to bring your imagination!

👉 Register at the Information Booth on the day to be part of the line-up and go in the draw for some fantastic prizes.
