SMOKE on the Water isn't just about great food, wine and live music.

This King's Birthday long weekend, we're bringing together a unique collection of creative, wellness and artisan workshops at Maydale Reserve.

Whether you'd like to capture a sunrise, create something beautiful with your hands, learn a traditional trade or simply take time to slow down and breathe, there's something for everyone.

We know times are tough. The cost of living keeps rising and there never seems to be enough happening close to home. While there are some wonderful events across the region, many people tell us they'd love to see more reasons to get out, connect with others and make memories without having to travel hours away.

That's exactly why we created SMOKE on the Water.

This weekend, Horsham Ag Society - 'Maydale Reserve' Horsham Showgrounds transforms into a festival of fire, food, wine, music and art right here in Horsham.

Bring the family, bring your friends or come on your own. Wander through the art and photography exhibition, enjoy live music, try a workshop, grab something to eat and gather around the fire drums scattered throughout the grounds.

And if you'd like to make a weekend of it, camping is completely free. Park the van, pitch a tent or throw a swag in the back of the ute and enjoy a mini getaway in your own backyard.

Some weekends aren't about rushing.
They're about pulling up a chair beside a fire, watching the flames dance into the night sky and taking a moment to simply be.
For many people in our rural communities, life can be relentless. Long days. Big decisions. Dry seasons. Wet seasons. Markets. Machinery. Family. Responsibilities. Sometimes we forget to stop and check in with ourselves and each other.
That's why we've created the Farmers Fire Circle at SMOKE on the Water.
No speeches. No pressure. No expectations.
Just a welcoming campfire, a free sausage and cuppa, live music drifting through the trees and a few good people willing to sit, chat and share the afternoon together.
Bring your mates. Bring your family. Bring your dog-eared camp chair if you like.
Whether you want to yarn with Justin from Fat Farmers Horsham Group, have a quiet chat with Lawrence from Rural Aid organisation, learn a breathing technique to help when life gets overwhelming or simply sit and watch the blacksmith at work, there's a place for you here.
And if you don't feel like talking at all, that's okay too.
Sometimes the best conversations start when there's nothing to say.
