RISE Grappling RISE is part of the Tas Health & Fitness Expo which gets over 4,000 visitors on the day and is surrounded by 70+ health & fitness exhibitors!

RISE Grappling is run by a small team of passionate local Tasmanian Jiu Jitsu athletes and business owners. With the extraordinarily generous support of the event sponsors their mission is to help the continued growth of Jiu Jitsu in Tasmania by creating an incredible event that focuses on both the competitor and the spectator.

The RISE: Submission Series Competition will run all day at the Expo on the Multi-Purpose floor space just inside the main entrance. Competitors will include kids from 5 years old, as well as Teens, Adults divisions. Spectators are welcome so be sure to come along to see why Jiu Jitsu is one of the fastest growing sports and most effective martial arts in the world!
