Thankyou to everyone who jumped back into the EventPlus Portal snd entered their details for claiming a refund on your entry if this was due.

DID YOU ENTER BOTH YOUR BSB & Account numbers. If any details are incorrect or missing you will miss out on your refund.

Please take the time to double check.

Final day to register for refund is this Friday 31st December.

Processing of refund amounts will begin next week.

The wait is over. If you would like to claim a refund for your BayBreak Roll Over you need to act now. This will not be an automatic process and we need you to check your emails or follow the link below to update vital details. Reminders will be posted over the coming days so we ask you refrain from all the emails and messages so we can move forward behind the scenes. You have until the 31st December 2021 to update details or we can assume you are not wanting to claim your unused entry to BayBreak 2020/21. We appreciate your patience during what has been a strained and busy year. :)

TO ALL OUR WONDERFUL VIRTUAL PARTICIPANTS.

Have you received your medal and visor? Maybe you were apart of an event that had a towel and finisher shirt or just ordered and have your extra merchandise. Perhaps you had your race pack posted or collected?
We thank you for being apart of BayBreak Virtual 2020 in the capacity you were able to support us. We loved seeing all your results and photos.

Quick Update........

Firstly, Thankyou for not inundating us with emails and messages. This has given us more free time to work in our spare time behind the scenes. Sharon and I are nearly half way through going over every registration and making sure we have you marked off as ‘Offer Refund’ or ‘Virtual/Race Pack collected or posted’. Once we are done each group will receive an email with FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS.

A complete stock take is also being done so if your chasing 2020 merchandise including the medals stay posted for where you can purchase all of this from at cost or below cost prices.

Will aim to touch base again once we are ready to send out emails.

We have not forgotten you.

All of our own personal lives have taken off in different directions - for personal reasons and because of COVID.

As you know, we decided to put BayBreak on the shelf for 2021 and lucky we did as the date we locked in prior to last years event was the weekend of the Brisbane Lock Down and at the time we were all wearing masks!

Moving forward, we are now working behind the scenes to sort through all the registrations and separate those that ‘Rolled Over’, picked up/had posted their race packs and did the virtual event.

Refunds will be available for ‘Rolled Over’ registrations. With the volume of refunds this will take us several weeks. It is a big job behind closed doors, and it is going to take time.

WE ARE ASKING FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND ASK YOU PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL, USE MESSENGER OR ASK QUESTIONS IN COMMENTS as this will take away valued time from us and only delay the process of our end result.

Once ready, we will send out emails to everyone with further instructions. This should happen in the coming weeks.

All past medals and merchandise will also be for sale at reduced prices.

Please be kind, and remember your BayBreak Committee are volunteers and we continue to work in our own spare time. Once sorted, we will explain how BayBreak will look in the future.

Happy New Year to you all.
2020 has been the year to challenge us all.
For those that have emailed and messaged us we thankyou for your patience and understanding.
Basically each and everyone of us on the BayBreak Committee has had some sort of personal or professional challenges to deal with this year and some are still on going. As we are all volunteers it wasn't fair to put pressure on my committee and the demands associated with running an event especially during a time when we still didn't know how COVID-19 was going to look. Therefore BayBreak as you/we know it has not been scheduled onto the calendar for at least the first 6 months of 2021.
I will be calling a full committee meeting in the next few weeks once I know who is going to continue and who is not. If anyone of you would like to be apart of the BayBreak Committee we would love to have you on board. There are so many small and big roles that all need filling.

Below are the answers to the main questions that kept popping up in your messages and emails.

Q1. Has a date been set for BayBreak
A1. No

Q2. Will BayBreak be going ahead next year
A2. Once BayBreak Committee has met to discuss how BayBreak will look in the future, you will be the first to know.

Q3. Is messenger being monitored
A3. No. Our social media guru has stepped away from BayBreak. This role is now open to anyone who wants to join us.

I ask that you please be patient and refrain from asking questions via messenger, email and below as these will not be monitored and/or answered till after our committee meeting. Sit tight and enjoy the festive season with your family and friends for now and Ill post back when I have more details.

Let's not forget the juniors. Our physical event is a 2km Loop where the kids can run wild on the road. Some for fun and some run to win. Whatever they have done to support BayBreak's Virtual 2km we think they are all little champions. Well done to you all and I cannot wait to see you lining up next year.

A 5km lineup can be one fast race. Our results still reflect very fast times and also those that enjoy getting out for the challenge or achieving something new. Either a run or walk we all love a 5km.

BayBreak Virtual 10km results. Normally our biggest lineup was spread around the country with people both running and walking in their own time and home towns. We hope to see you all next year lining up here in Hervey Bay. This is one year we certainly won't forget.

Congratulations to everyone for your participation, support and enthusiasm to complete your 10km Virtual run or walk.
