The QCWA Atherton Tablelands Division and the QCWA Herberton Branch have outdone themselves for this years Jacaranda Festival!

Their Country Kitchens Team will be showcasing Health & Nutrition and how you can improve your health by making a few small changes to your eating habits! They will also be giving out yummy taste testers, free recipe cards and have some fun interactive games for the kids to play!

The QCWA Herberton Branch will be offering Jacaranda Devonshire Teas!

The QCWA Atherton Tablelands Division will have some great raffles, QCWA merchandise including details on how you can join the fun!

You will find all the QCWA ladies supporting our health and our communities in the Herberton Hall at the Jacaranda Festival on Saturday 18th October 10-3

🌸💜 Best Dressed in Purple Competition! 💜🌸

The Jacaranda Festival Herberton is just around the corner – Saturday 18th October – and we want to see the town awash in purple!

👗👒 Whether you’re young or young at heart, now’s the time to get creative. Think wild, think fun, think Jacaranda-crazy PURPLE! There are prizes up for grabs for both adults and kids.

✨ It’s the school holidays, so kids this is the perfect chance to start planning and making your costumes!

📍 Register on the day at 12pm at the Main Stage in Grace Street and strut your stuff in the Best Dressed in Purple Competition. Judging and winners announced at 12:30pm

Let’s fill Herberton with colour and community spirit – we can’t wait to see your purple creations! 💜

What does our annual Jacaranda Festival mean to us?

1 - We get to share our beautiful flowering Jacaranda trees.

2 - We get to showcase our historic village; Herberton and its rich history.

3 - It's an opportunity for our community to come together and have some fun with the whole family.

Are you ready to strut your stuff in spectacular shades of purple?

As part of this year’s Jacaranda Festival Herberton we are calling on everyone, young and young-at-heart, to unleash their creativity in our Purple Parade: The Best Dressed in Purple Competition!

💜 Whether you’re rocking high fashion, a wild & zany costume, fantasy flair or a funny get-up — we want to see it! The only rule? Your outfit must be PURPLE!

🎉 Prizes will be awarded for:
✨ Best Dressed Woman
✨ Best Dressed Man
✨ Best Dressed Girl (14yrs & under)
✨ Best Dressed Boy (14yrs & under)

💜 Go big, go bold, go violet, lavender, lilac or electric purple — we can’t wait to see what you come up with!

🕐 Judging will take place at 12-12:30pm at the main stage in Grace Street on Sat 18th Oct.
