Steve has entered his 416ci Harrop Engineering blown LS-powered HJ Monaro into the event, adding to the strong interstate contingent making the trip to compete. We can't thank our interstate entrants enough for their continued support of the event.

Steve will be racing in the DTM Automatic Transmissions/Performance -sponsored 8.50 Index Class. With the Monaro already dipping into the 8.40s, he won't have to pull much out of it to be right on the money come race day. ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Thanks for the support, Steve, and we look forward to seeing the HJ in action!

Caine has entered his early-headed 355 stroked HB Torana into the event, and this machine is anything but slow. Having previously recorded a personal best of 9.53 seconds at 140mph at one of our events, we expect Caine to be right on that pace again come race day.

The HB will be competing in the Pro-Port CNC sponsored Iron Lion Class, where it is sure to be a strong contender. Thanks for your continued support of the event, Caine, and we look forward to seeing you on the track!

Matt has officially entered his killer 427ci twin-turbo LS-powered VL for the event! Having already run an impressive 7.50-second pass, this VL will undoubtedly be a serious contender in the Pulsar Turbo Australia -sponsored 275 G.O.A.T. class.

Matt put down some strong performances at last year's event, and we're excited to see both him and the VL back on track at the 2026 Holden Drag Nationals. Thanks for your continued support of the event, Matt.

We can't wait to see what this combination can do!

Jason Burko has entered his tough little LC Torana into the event, and it's sure to be a crowd favourite. Powered by a thumping Holden V8 up front, the naturally aspirated combination produces more than 700 horsepower and delivers serious performance on the track.

With plenty of experience behind the wheel and countless passes under his belt, Jason will be chasing that elusive 8-second time slip. Last year, he came agonisingly close, reeling off a string of 9.00-second passes but just falling short of breaking into the 8-second zone.

This year, he's back with unfinished business and will be competing in the Pro-Port CNC-sponsored Iron Lion Class. We're looking forward to seeing if Jason and the LC Torana can finally crack into the eights and make a statement at the event.

Yasin has entered his 1000hp RB20/30-powered Calais into the event, and we're pumped to have him on board. Finished in the factory blue and silver colour scheme, this is easily one of our favourite combinations. We also love the fact that it still packs RB power under the bonnet. Yasin will be competing in the Pro Street Towing & Transport 6 -Cylinder Class. Thanks for your support, Yasin, and we can't wait to see the Calais in action!

We're pumped to have Kerri back this year in the Big Wheels Truck Alignment Pakenham -sponsored Y.T.G. Class! Last year, she made the huge trip down from Queensland, only to suffer heartbreak when the rear end let go on her very first qualifying pass on race day. We definitely felt her pain and even awarded her our infamous "Hard Luck" Award for the weekend.

Kerri's tough VK Commodore is powered by a 600hp naturally aspirated Holden V8 and runs into the 10.0's. She will also be competing in the Pro-Port CNC sponsored Iron Lion Class. After last year's disappointment, we're looking forward to seeing her back on track and making plenty of passes this year. ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ

Geoff has entered his Holden-powered HR for the event. Powered by a 5.0-litre Holden V8 making around 450hp, this tidy combination consistently knocks out 11.50-second quarter-mile passes.
He'll be competing in the Pro-Port CNC -sponsored Iron Lion class alongside more than 40 other Holden-powered entrants, with plenty of strong competition expected throughout the weekend.
We're looking forward to seeing Geoff and the HR back on track.

Thanks for supporting the event, Geoff! โœŒ๏ธ

Our next entrant is truly one of a kind. Not only is this machine an absolute showstopper, but it also lays down impressive 7-second quarter-mile passes.

Making the long journey from Darwin, Troy will be bringing his stunning twin-turbo FJ Holden to compete in the First Choice Bollards sponsored Street Brawler Class. From nose to tail, the craftsmanship and attention to detail on this car are second to none. It's the kind of build that simply has to be seen in person to be fully appreciated.

We can't wait to see this incredible car in action. Thanks for your support of the event, Troy, and safe travels on the trip south!

There have been a lot of discussions recently about safety equipment, licensing requirements, and the minimum standards competitors must meet to race at Victorian Motorsports Park events, as well as other sanctioned motorsport events across the country.

One topic that continues to generate questions is safety helmets and the standards they must meet to be compliant. Hopefully, the image below provides a simple and easy-to-understand guide, helping competitors identify acceptable options and make informed decisions when purchasing or upgrading their equipment.

We are regularly advised that safety helmets are the item most commonly found to be non-compliant during scrutineering inspections. For this reason, it is important that all competitors take the time to check their helmets and ensure they meet the required standards before attending an event.
