Todays story features Addi and her lovely OTT Thoroughbred Cody! 🐴

The pair had an awesome weekend at show, competing in the 60cm & 75cm showjumping for great results! This was particularly a big milestone for Addi as it was her very first show back after fracturing her spine.

Addi, we think your smile says it all! We are glad to hear you are back in the saddle and enjoying competitions again. We hope to see you back at the show in 2027 🤩

As we kick off our final week of stories, we start in the Philip Charley Pavilion with Sharon's incredible cakes!

Sharon entered 2 cakes into the Show for the first time ever this year. Sharon tells us that it is something she had considered for years but never did. Her expectations- "to just do what I do and see what happens".
Well didn't she exceed those expectations!

We would like to extend a big congratulations to our very own Ross Matheson & Phillip Close, who have been announced as finalists in the 2026 AgShows NSW Awards! 🤩

Ross and Phil are integral, longstanding members of our society, who have both served as president and continue to hold roles across our Board of Directors and Senior Committee. From works and developments, to traffic management, to grand parade coordination and woodchop, there are very few areas across our show that aren't possible without Ross and Phil's logistical investments.

But not only across show time will you find them at the showgrounds! No no, all year round you can find Phil & Ross either mowing, carrying out general maintenance tasks, working on projects and just generally assisting with anything & everything that needs to be done.

Neither of these men do what they do for any form of recognition, but we certainly believe they are more than deserving of every award! The HDAA simply wouldn't be the same without them!

Congratulations Ross & Phil! We will all be cheering for you very loudly come the awards night on June 20th 🥳

🎡 2026 Hawkesbury Show- your show your stories! 🎡

Cuteness overload for your Friday evening! The 2026 show was 3yo Logan’s first ever show, and what a time he had!

Alongside best buddy, Sq**rt the trusty steed, the team had a super fun day in the pony club classes representing Vines Pony Club.

If you ask Logan though, his highlight was certainly standing alongside his hero’s in blue 💙 👮‍♀️

Thank you to Linda for sharing this heartwarming photo, we think we can have a guess of what Logan would like to be when he grows up 🙌

It's a family affair in the Philip Charley Pavilion!

Jeanette shared with us these heart warming pictures of herself, her Mum, Victoria, and her uncle, Paul, celebrating their show success! The family had entries across the apiculture, fruit, agriculture and horticulture sections, taking home ribbons all round! 🏆

Jeanette and her family are certainly proof that the show has something for everyone! We can't wait to welcome you all back for the 2027 show

🎡2026 Hawkesbury Show - your show, your stories!🎡

Today's story features our very own Junior Hawkesbury Rural Ambassador Runner-Up Benjamin, who had a very busy show!

Ben is a Hawkesbury local and a regular at agricultural shows across the state, but nothing beats his home show! He entered classes across poultry, horticulture, cooking, preserves, agriculture, pet sheep, craft and photography sections. Ben also put his junior judging skills to the test representing his school in cattle, poultry and vegetable judging.

Ben picked up ribbons galore, including the biggest of them all... Bird of Show in the poultry shed! 🏆

Congratulations Ben, what a show you had! We are sure you are already planning for the 2027 show, and hope to see you there!

Did you enter an exhibit in this years Hawkesbury Show?
Have you perhaps left it behind... 👀

We still have a number of unclaimed exhibits from Art, Photography, Lego and Craft in the show office. Not only are these precious exhibits, many have prizes and prize money to claim.

Please note that all exhibits and their corresponding prizes have until Close of Business Friday, May 29th, to be claimed. If you are unable to pass by before this time, please contact our office to arrange an alternative 🙌
