St Albans Folk Festival Intimate music and stories, raucous dance and song, all in a rustic village next to a starlit river. Join us on Darkinjung country, 23-25 April 2027.

The village atmosphere at St Albans creates the perfect ambience for a delightful weekend of folk music in a truly Australian setting. All venues are a leisurely stroll from the campsite and the heart of the festival and St Albans itself is a pleasant drive from the centre of Sydney making it an ideal day out. There is limited phone and internet connection in the village.

🙌Artist applications for St Albans Folk Festival 2027 are open! Our theme this year is traditions from the Balkans and Eastern Europe.

We invite musicians, dancers, poets and singers who perform traditional and contemporary folk to apply.

As well as stage acts, we welcome artists who can lead sessions, teach workshops, give talks, put on acts or workshops specifically for children, or who are street performers.

Applications close: 27 September 2026
