Harrietville Community Hall The Harrietville Community Hall provides a venue for community uses such as meetings, presentations and social events. Main hall is approx 8.5 x 13.5 m.

It is also available for hire for concerts, weddings birthdays and similar functions. Facilities include a raised stage with digital overhead projector to plug in to your computer. There is a kitchen, and male, female & disabled toilets.

Here is Fridge and an oven. One is a local character, the other is a new appliance recently installed at the hall thanks to the Alpine Shire Community Grants.
We are all looking forward to using the new oven and sharing some warm goodies with you soon.

A big shout out to the the locals who helped with the tree work at the hall over the last two days. First start of much positive change to come.

Some exciting news to share...the timber floor in the hall will be renewed next week including cutting back and polishing, all up that’s about $6,000! Thanks to Alpine Shire Council for making this happen.
Also .... the kitchen will be upgraded soon thanks to funding provided through the Alpine Shire Community Grants program, Bendigo Bank and all of us. That’s a $12,000 upgrade!
This is great news for this vital community asset and we are excited about these improvements.
Hopefully more hall upgrades to come to support participation in our community.

The purpose of the meeting is to elect a new committee of management for a period of 3 years commencing 6th March 2020.

PICK THE HARRIETVILLE HALL UPGRADE.
Stage 1 upgrade includes a new multi-purpose room and entry foyer, and a new store room off the main hall for chairs and tables. These upgrades will increase participation opportunities as well as improve the presentation of the hall to the street.
The hall Committee need your support for this project by voting on the Pick my Project website - https://pickmyproject.vic.gov.au/

HARRIETVILLE COMMUNITY HALL

At the Hall, on Monday 4th April 2016 at 7.30 PM

PURPOSE – TO ELECT NEW MEMBERS TO THE HALL COMMITTEE OF MANAGEMENT

(For health and other reasons a number of the existing Committee of Management of the Hall are unable to continue.)

A number of vacancies need to be filled (including President) to create a new Committee.

Please come along and do your bit. We need new ideas and energy to make the greatest use of this important facility for our community.
