The Harden Kite Festival is a fun family-friendly annual event held in the beautiful Hilltops region of NSW. The festival has exciting entertainment, rides, and free activities for children for all ages, including the adults! Professional kite flyers from all over Australia come to the festival and bring their array of beautiful, colorful, eye-catching kites. The skies of Harden fill with giant whales, crabs, butterflies, spiders, and sponge bob just to name a few! You can browse the great range of interesting market stalls, enjoy the all-day ride or simply sit in the shade and enjoy the fun. There will be a variety of tasty food and good coffee available, or feel free to bring your own picnic.

This year the Community Bank Harden-Murrumburrah presents the best family fun day around with the Harden Kite Festival being bigger, bolder and brighter than ever!

Harden's skies will be filled with gorgeous, colourful kites and the sound of music and laughter will fill the air – and everyone can fly a kite – there are free guided make-your-own workshops so anyone can create their own original or bring your favourite to fly in the public kite flying area. 🪁

🎏 The big kite display will amaze, live entertainment and roving performers will delight, and with a petting zoo, kids' activities and free play areas, markets, food stalls, carnival rides, side show games, a vintage and custom car display and a BBQ, there really is something for absolutely everyone.

Harden is a scenic 1.5+ hour drive from Visit Canberra or Visit Wagga Wagga and 3.5 hours from Sydney.com. With entry only $2, and an all-day ride pass for $25 or 3 all-day ride passes for $60 - the Harden Kite Festival is one of the greatest, and most affordable festivals around!

🪁In less than 4 weeks the Community Bank Harden-Murrumburrah Harden Kite Festival will be filling Harden's skies with gorgeous, colourful kites!

🎪Everyone can fly a kite - there's free guided make-your-own workshops so anyone can create an original or bring your favourites to fly in the public kite flying area. There's a big kite display which will amaze, also live entertainment and roving performers, a petting zoo, kids' activities and free play areas, markets, food stalls, carnival rides, side show games, a vintage and custom car display and a BBQ - what more could you want?

Entry is only $2, an all-day ride pass is $25 or there are 3 all-day ride passes for $60 - making the Harden Kite Festival one of the greatest, and most affordable festivals in town!
