For over 30 years the Hamilton Performing Arts Centre has been the home of the performing arts within Southern Grampians Shire. We are the region's major venue for live shows, engaging performances and events, based in the heart of the Greater Hamilton region, Gunditjmara Country, Gariwerd (Grampians). HPAC presents engaging and accessible live performances for and by the community, not only withi
n the walls of the building but into small towns and outdoor spaces across the region. Our mission: to present, connect, educate and engage with our community through the performing arts. We believe the arts play an integral role in shaping the voice of the community, fostering tolerance, understanding and empathy, making for resilient societies. We strive to foster a strong, collaborative creative region and to invest in our local talent to create a thriving creative economy. Experienced staff, substantial equipment and versatility of multiple event spaces make HPAC and our adjoining cinema suitable for a range of events, from meetings, presentations and conferences to memorable weddings. The Hamilton Performing Arts Centre itself has 3 main event spaces; the Helen Handbury Auditorium, the Function Room & the Ted Kenna V.C Room. These are accessed via a welcoming foyer with ticketing/registration box office, café/bar and kitchenette.
