Yesterday I attended the official book launch of from Victim to survivor by Mon Belly. The Panel of four very passionate women on the topic of family violence was both heartbreaking and inspirational. Well done to Global Events, all supporters and especially Mon for creating more awareness of this topic. β€οΈπŸ’œ

National Sorry Day
Today is National Sorry Day, a time for all of us to learn, reflect and deepen our understanding of the Stolen Generations and the ongoing impact of past policies on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

It is an important moment to acknowledge truth, listen with respect and continue building understanding across our community.

My heartfelt condolences to Neale’s family. 😒
