As part of the 20th Anniversary Heart of Gold International Short Film Festival, we're seeking expressions of interest from filmmakers, writers, artists, creatives and industry professionals to deliver workshops, masterclasses and talks as part of CREATIVE LAB 2026.

We're looking for engaging sessions ranging from 2-hour workshops to full-day intensives exploring storytelling through film and related creative practices.

Topics may include:

โœจ Creative writing
โœจ Content creation & digital storytelling
โœจ Community storytelling
โœจ Emerging technologies and innovative creative practice.

Cultivate the Chaos and Learnivation RTO 45570 invites students, families and others interested in our youth education courses, to our Open Day in May.

Come along to learn more about our SIT30522 Certificate III in Events course. See how this program combines hands-on learning, creativity and real-world work pathways for students aged 15 to 19.

Student Entrance, AICM, 28 Channon St, Gympie.
Light refreshments will be provided. Parents, carers, school staff and anyone interested in youth pathways are welcome.

We had a full house at Cooran last night! Thank you for supporting our ON TOUR events and coming together to laugh and sigh and maybe have a little cry as we share some amazing films together.

This afternoon we have a SOLD OUT show at Nambour, then our last show for the Tour is at Eumundi on 23 May. Tickets selling fast so get in quick!

Presented by the Sunshine Coast Screen Collective as part of ShowFest, the event brings together filmmakers, audiences, industry guests, students, and local creatives for a relaxed, community-focused cinema experience on the big screen.
