Gympie Gold Rush needs you!

We are officially 4 weeks away from the Gympie Gold Rush Parade and Party in the Park, and we’re chasing some amazing volunteers to help bring the day to life.

If you can spare a few hours on Saturday 17 October, we’d love to have you on the team. You might be helping with the parade, assisting visitors, supporting event setup, guiding people around, or lending a hand where needed.

No special experience needed. Just a friendly attitude, community spirit, and a willingness to jump in.

This is your chance to be part of the action, meet great people, and help make the Gold Rush revival something Gympie can be proud of.

17th October, 2026 - 3.30 pm - Parade starts in Mary Street - and it's going to be BIG!

17th October, 2026 - 5.30 pm - Party in the Park with some epic talent including Tennessee Lights Favourite Kid Absolutely 80s presents and DJ Troy Rowlands. Food trucks galore, amusements for the kids and Fireworks as well as revealing the winner of our fantastic Raffle thanks to U & I Co.

Gympie Gold Rush needs volunteers.

We’re looking for community-minded people to help bring the Gold Rush Parade and Party in the Park to life.

If you can spare a few hours, we’d love your help with things like event setup, parade support, crowd guidance, information points, pack down and general festival assistance.

You don’t need special experience, just a friendly attitude, a willingness to help, and a love for seeing Gympie shine.

Volunteering is a great way to be part of the action, meet people, support your community and help make this year’s Gold Rush a success.
