This project will assist local youth to create videos and a theatrical performance for a multi-media arts presentation at the Gympie Civic Centre's Heritage Theatre on the evening of Saturday, July 15. To express your interest please fill in the following survey:

The project’s aim is to raise questions about identity and our relationship with our communities heritag

Do you have a sense of pride in your town? Do you feel there is opportunity to make a place in the future evolution of your town? The final multi media presentation will include music, art, theatre, dance and film. Young people will be involved in the planning and delivery, from process to performance. This project is part of Gympie's G150 celebration. The Regional Arts Development Fund is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Gympie Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.

A huge thank you to everyone who came to our production. All the cast can be very proud of their achievement! It was an amazing journey and fun to be involved in these young peoples lives, (even just for a short time x).
Thanks go to Gympie Regional Council and the Qld Government for their roles in the , without which we couldn't create these sorts of projects.

There's youth art in the foyer along with licensed bar.

Have you booked your tickets yet for the coolest youth project in town? celebrations are no way near over!!!
The Gympie Youth Art Project is a self devised theatre and film presentation made by young people who call home.
This Saturday, Nov 4, from 6pm you can enjoy wood fired pizza and chill out to the sounds of Sista Lee with youth art on display in the foyer at Gympie's Heritage Theatre, Civic Centre. Show starts at 7pm.
Special thanks to the Gympie Regional Council and Gympie Regional Gallery RADF program.
Adults are $20, Students $10 under 13 free, for tix:

Meet Julianna Trueman and she's 16 years old. She loves reading books and playing games with a good story. Julianna joined the Gympie Youth Art Project because she really likes acting, and one day hopes she can perform professionally, whether onstage or in front of a camera.
