Gunnedah Conservatorium is supporting today’s camp oven cook off at Piallaway Progress Association - Piallaway Hall through music sponsorship. From 2pm come and catch the cooking action … and the music!

Hester Fraser (piano/vocals), better known in folk circles as GOLDHEIST, and guitarist Anthony Walmsley (Graeme Connors, The House of Jazz Collective), are a musical powerhouse couple, bringing you all your favourite music from a wide range of genres and eras - each with a delectable stripped back twist. Featuring piano, guitar, and artfully layered vocals, the pair are consummate professionals, amplifying the atmosphere with their ambient sounds for any social occasion or event.

Graced with vulnerable yet powerful vocals, Jo Davie delivers authentic storytelling through heartfelt simplicity, technical precision, and impressive versatility. The 2024 Carol Lloyd Award winner, Jo graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium with First Class Honours and the University Medal, and was runner-up in the 2018 Folk Alliance Young Artist of the Year. Jo has since captivated audiences across Australia’s festival circuit, performing at Woodford Folk Festival (QLD), The National Folk Festival (ACT), Caloundra Music Festival (QLD), and many more.
