💥EVENT CANCELLED.

Please could all vendors check their emails and private message us with any queries.

The weather forecast for Guildford on Saturday shows temperatures of up to 41 degrees from 2 pm (possibly higher). From 5 to 9 pm, temperatures are expected to range from 32 to 41 degrees. There is also a possibility of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.

We have made the tough decision to cancel Saturday's event. We're committed to providing a healthy and safe environment for all vendors, event volunteers, entertainers and children's activity providers, and to not exposing anyone to unnecessary and potentially harmful health conditions.
In the past, vendors have fallen ill and collapsed because of extreme heat. We must take all necessary measures to prevent these incidents.

It is widely known that during periods of high temperature, attendance rates decline, food and market stall vendors experience decreased sales, and the likelihood of surplus and wasted food increases, resulting in financial losses. Not to mention the extreme heat experienced by food vendors who are required to cook and/or use grills, among other cooking appliances. The setting up of vendors' marquees and the lifting of heavy boxes/merchandise pose health risks when temperatures are extremely high.

We ask for your understanding of this difficult decision and hope you can join us on Saturday, April 4th, for the last market of the season.

Our first Stirling Square Market - Guildford for 2026 is on Sunday, March 15th.

The predicted temperature in Guildford on Saturday is expected to reach 41 degrees or higher during the setup of vendor stalls, which poses health risks associated with elevated temperatures.
For this reason, and the predicted temperature of 32 - 41 during the event, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this Saturday's Guildford Twilight Market.
Anyone familiar with Guildford probably knows it could even be hotter than the predicted temperature.

The health and well-being of our vendors, volunteers, children's activity providers and entertainers are our top priority. We remain committed to ensuring a safe environment and to avoiding any unnecessary health risks.

Thank you for your understanding of this difficult decision. We sincerely appreciate all your support.

We hope to see you all at our last Guildford Twilight Market, which will be held on Saturday, April 4th.
