Now that I’ve had a chance to recoup after melting on Sunday! *Insert Long Post Here*
I’d just like to thank everyone who attended our AGM and presentations day yesterday.
Congratulations to all the winner and place getters it’s been so good watching you all compete, reach goals and get better and better each round!
Thank you to each and every person that’s thrown a gate, time kept, ground prepped, gave words of encouragement and just generally gave a hand to help out on the day!!
To Belinda Bauman thank you for keeping the ship steering straight I know it’s a lot and I appreciate how much you have helped me not only this year but in previous year your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed and I bet you’re happy you never have to right me a list again!
To Jill and Mark Lyons thank you for creating a facility that is safe, inviting and the best arena in Queensland your dedication to the sport we all love goes beyond anything and we appreciate you guys so much for everything you have done over the years. The Sapphire Buckle will always be remembered for how epic it was to have that many barrel racing runs in one day and that ground be perfect for each and every competitor.
To Diane Smith thank you mum for being the best canteen lady EVER! For sponsoring buckles left right and centre over the year and for all the support you have given D3 and myself throughout the years!
It has been one of my greatest achievements D3 and I am so proud of what Tammy and I took over and built over the years!! 14 years of running barrel associations from CHBHA to NBHA. Thank you to each and every person that has helped me over the years, the support I have received ia second to none and there are no real words to say how grateful I am! Its now my turn to be on sidelines and watch others create something even better then i could imagine!
I know I’m leaving D3 in great hands with that announcement to come later this week!
