November 2026 - Cinema Paradiso Ettalong Beach - Entries open March 5!

Nestled between the mountains and oceans on the oldest continent on earth and only a short drive from Australia’s largest city, the Central Coast Film Festival celebrates storytelling, innovation and exceptional filmmaking. The world’s first feature film, “The Story of the Kelly Gang”, was shot in Australia in 1906. Only seven years later, the Central Coast was the location of “The Life of a Jacka

roo” and “A Blue Gum Romance” in 1913. Since those early pioneering days, the Central Coast's rugged coastline and lush bushland have been the backdrop of movies starring Mel Gibson, David Wenham and most recently, Toni Collete in the Netflix drama series ‘Pieces of Her’. The Central Coast Film Festival seeks to discover, honour and celebrate filmmakers through a curated global program of feature and short films that showcase authentic storytelling through exceptional filmmaking. CCFF aims to create an iconic cultural event that facilitates profound experiences for viewers and creators. The Central Coast Film Festival will be held November 23-30, 2024, at venues around the Central Coast of NSW, Australia. It will be a red carpet event featuring in-person screenings. Stay connected via our website and social media for more information, and join the celebration of film and story!
