Tuesday already.. and we slept through Monday apparently! Just kidding..😁
Hope you had a nice weekend everyone.
If you're joining us for the upcoming long weekend here's a menu update.
We know our regular guests do enjoy a break from campfire cuisine so we've organised delicious hot food, coffee and ice cream vans all eager to meet and treat everyone! 🍔🍟🍦🧋🥤🍕
Hot Slice Pizza with their super yum variety of oven fired pizzas; M***a Trucka with loaded hamburgers and guess what - donuts!!; and Soft Serve Hunter for steaming hot morning coffees and yummy ice cream delights... sounds pretty good right??😋😋
👉VANS will be at the office vicinity on Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning and relocating to the Barn/Arena area Sunday arvo for the rodeo event.

👉Just a reminder to PLEASE bring cash for our vendors as well as for Gordon Country shop purchases as our bush internet is notorious for 'dropping out'!!💵💲

A bit cooler the last couple of days here at Gordon Country and we’re hoping for some rain to freshen things up again.. It'd be awesome for the long weekend to have a fresh flush of the creek.👍😉

Our ‘BIG SKY WEEKENDER’ event is to add an element to your weekend that promises to be lots of fun and will definitely leave you with some take home memories. Warwick is famous for its rodeo but on the long weekend, we’re getting in first - yes folks we’re having a GC ‘mini rodeo’!! Yeehar and all that..

👉NEVER FEAR - We will absolutely still be offering the same laid back super relaxed experience that we're famous for, to those guests who just want a quiet hideaway weekend – that option will always be on offer here as we truly understand that it’s sometimes 'all that works'.. 🤗

MORE DETAIL - The rodeo and family entertainment program as an extra, is an exclusive offer to guests camping with us and will be available via ticket sales (link below).
These activities will be held in our private barn and arena area – so if this sounds like a winner, book your camping stay as usual and then choose to purchase event tickets via the link.
Events will be FAMILY FOCUSED so that everyone can enjoy the fun together.. 👏
There’ll be bull riding, country entertainment, market stalls, food vans, & a bar.🍻HEAPS to keep the kids happy with a petting zoo, jumping castle and the always popular face painting!

Did we say FOOD vans? 👍🍔🥤🧋🍕 Hot Slice Pizza, burgers, ice-cream and coffee will all be available from our vendors at the office precinct Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning - then relocating to the Barn/Arena area for event attendees.

Good morning Friday and we're making it a Fishing Friday today folks! 👏🐟
When all the sites and cabins are checked and the immediate chores are done - it's camp chairs by the creek for us! Well that's the plan anyway.... and catching fish is a good plan for Friday right?😉🐟
We're lucky to have some great fishing and yabbying spots here at Gordon Country and thankfully (even though it's a bit dry), there's still a feed to be had and some fun trying...😁
We don't want to be lonely here though folks - lots of space along our 7k's of creek for everyone!🤗
Off topic but we hope you do enjoy the photos we post everyone. Lots are from our walking and driving around the property at different times of the day and week - and lots are from our guests which we greatly appreciate receiving.
It's so nice to be able to share guest experiences as everyone enjoys different aspects of our property in different ways.🌳🌼🦎🐸🐟🌌🌄

Ask your friends what they're up to this weekend and if they're fortunate enough to have have free time, they might say they're off to the beach or visiting family or friends somewhere - but without doubt there's sure be some that are heading bush! 🤠
Off on that rustic escape with their tents and RV's, caravans and 4WD's for just a few days of tech free, care free adventure and starry nights of toasted marshmallows, cookouts, conversations and campfire songs. 🔥🌌🎶🤗
Who doesn't love sitting around the warmth of a campfire at night sharing stories and memories and telling silly jokes with your kids and friends..🤗🥰
No matter what time of year, rustic escapes around Australia always deliver a unique experience and we're so glad we can offer that experience at Gordon Country.
Our picturesque part of the world here in SE Qld at Gordon Country is just brimming with natural beauty. Perfect light plays on the water, through the trees and across the mountains and the birds really make you stop and appreciate how lucky we are in Australia. 🐦🦅🕊🦉🌳🌲
