It’s with a mix of sadness and gratitude that we announce some changes to our Gordon Country Weddings & Events team.

After an incredible 10 years, our beautiful Kate is hanging up her wedding planning boots and heading into a very well-deserved retirement. Kate has been such an important part of our journey, helping countless couples bring their dream weddings to life. Her dedication, experience and heart have helped shape Rivergums Barn into what it is today. We simply can’t thank her enough. 🤎

Our wonderful Ellie is also spreading her wings, with some exciting new adventures ahead! While we will miss having her as part of our wedding planning team, we’re so proud of her and can’t wait to see what the future holds.

With change comes opportunity, and we’re now inviting expressions of interest for a Full-Time Wedding & Events Coordinator to join our team at Rivergums Barn.

We’re looking for someone with passion, exceptional organisational skills and a genuine love for bringing people together. Someone who thrives on creating unforgettable experiences and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves!

If you think you might be the perfect fit, or know someone who would be, we’d love to hear from you.

We can also offer onsite accommodation with room for adog!

Here we are on a sunny Monday morning folks with another week on the way.. indeed the first week of November and closer to the silly season.🙃😉
We hear from lots of guests at the moment that they're finding the world 'pretty whacky' right now so we want to share this humble thought - where does a walk in the wilderness take you?🧐🌳🌴🌷🌼🐸🦎🐝🐞
It may sound very simple but it really is possible to wilderness walk your way to a more peaceful day leaving behind even for a short while, the challenges of life.
Anxiety and stress take a real toll on wellbeing and nature walks are like a green drink of relaxation - best drunk slowly!😊
A stroll listening to the birds and insects with the wind moving past different leaves, and the sounds of the earth underfoot is an amazing therapy.
If you let yourself focus on the tapestry of nature.. the way it looks, smells and feels - then it will work its wonders.🌺🐜🦋🐝🐛

A crisp start to the day here at Gordon Country (which we love), and we also love that it started with the smell of campfires, coffee and bacon literally wafting everywhere ..😉👏 So good..
It's a bit overcast now however and maybe some more rain on the way today - it's a wait and see as usual!🤔🌧🌈

Frazzle Friday folks? No way! The week here was challenging but today is a bright new day and we do love our Fridays...!😍👏
The weather has been pretty darn enjoyable this last couple of days which helps a lot with the dry out/cleanup and the weekend is next up so 'happy days'..😁🤗

A Top of 26 forecast for today making the cleanup a bit easier and at this stage, it's looking like a cracking day..
If you're joining us today or tomorrow for the weekend - we're looking forward to seeing you soon. Birds are singing, grass is growing and the creek is super flushed!🥰

Morning again folks!!
Gordon Country WILL BE OPEN this weekend!👏👏😁
Our sincere apologies - there's been a mix-up in communications with our morning posts!!🙃
The creeks are up but we know that they drop very qu**ky once the rain has subsided and the rain forecast after today is minimal.
The sun and wind will do their job on the grounds.
Naturally we will let you know if this changes but we don't anticipate it will based on reports.
