Working Malinois Australia IGP National Malinois Championship.
FULL RESULTS BELOW from 01, 02, 03, 04.09. 2022.
Working Malinois Australia have just completed another successful National with this year’s judge Volker Sulimma from Germany. There were many great performances for the spectators to enjoy with the usual up and down moments of joy and disappointment.
WMA want to thank all our sponsors whose support makes these amateur events possible. I should make a special mention of Michelle Daniel, who maintained a tireless effort to support the event on behalf of our main sponsor, ProK9 Supplies, in the face of great personal adversity when both home and shop went underwater in recent floods.
A big thanks to my husband, Jens, who did all the logistics to get the event over the line while at the same time assisting training our teams as well his own dog. It’s always a massive amount of organization to put on a National and we’re all looking forward to a couple of weeks off before the club’s next sporting event on the 24, 25 September, namely Fabrice Basnier’s Mondioring workshop.
A great job over the four days from our two Trial Stewards, Karen Moore and Andrea Guimaraes, and very big thank you also to Robert Nielsen for lending us his experience as Tracklayer, as well as assisting Jens in setting up the fields and help out with other logistical work. WMA is a non-profit club and we are all volunteers working together to make these events a success.
Thank you also Mike Harper (Wild Dog Photography) for your expertise in photography and that of his video companion, Jane. Thanks Angie for sponsoring all the High in Trial awards while doing a super job on the presentation table and not to forget our tracking field marshal Chloe and Josh our "raffle" guy.
Of course last but not least no IGP event would work without the Judge and our two Helpers Simon Hutton (IGP1, IGP3) and Luca Campanella (IGP2, IGP3). It’s hard work driving those power dogs across the field!
Super competitors with super dogs and great sportsmanship on show in the face of adversity. Well done all.
