Gidgestock is an annual fund-raising, outdoor music festival in the beautiful Gidgegannup hills.

Gidgestock Music Festival returns for its 10th year this October, bringing some of the best local music Perth has to offer to the beautiful hills of Gidgegannup, for this family-friendly, fund-raising festival, just 45 minutes from Perth city. Experience a natural amphitheatre bush setting, a total of 22 live bands, campfires, rustic camping and dancing under the stars. Wake up to the call of the kookaburras and enjoy fine fellowship and great music and, on Sunday morning, a hearty cooked breakfast! The musicians/bands donate their time, as do the stage crew and a group of fabulous volunteers who, together with our considerate Sponsors, make the event possible. The venue too is donated by our wonderful hosts, Steve & Jo Mitcham, who generously open the gates of their beautiful 50 acre property for the festival weekend. All profits from the Gidgestock Music Festival are donated to the West Gidgegannup Volunteer Fire Brigade, the Leukaemia Foundation, Shalom House and Callum and Jake Robinson Foundation.

🌿 IT’S HAPPENING… GIDGESTOCK PREP HAS BEGUN! 🎶🤘

The countdown is well and truly on, and things are starting to take shape out at Gidgestock! 🙌

The crew has been hard at work getting the site festival-ready, clearing, mowing, setting up, marking things out and tackling all those behind-the-scenes jobs that turn this beautiful patch of Gidge into Gidgestock. 💛

There may even be a little creative signage going up… 😂

A huge shout-out to the incredible people already rolling up their sleeves and putting in the work. It takes a village to build a festival, and we have a pretty awesome one!

Some bands just belong on the Gidgestock stage… and Gidge Rock is definitely one of them! 🎸🔥

Gidge Rock are a much-loved local four-piece with a sound all their own, bringing together their original songs with influences drawn from decades of classic rock and blues.

Their original music captures everything we love about Gidge Rock - great guitar work, plenty of energy and that unmistakable local flavour. You’ll also hear some familiar favourites from the ’50s through to the ’80s woven into their set, so there’ll still be plenty of opportunities to sing along! 🎶🤘

And when we say they’re part of Gidgestock, we really mean it - Gidge Rock are the creators of the official Gidgestock anthem! 🎤🎸 It’s their own musical tribute to the festival and the community that makes it so special.
